Situated on the edge of the Pennine Mountains in the heart of West Yorkshire this railway station is responsible for the rail transport needs of the people of the small community of Walsden. Trains run to the station on a fairly regular basis linking the facility with Leeds and Manchester via the Calverdale Railway.
