Located about ten miles from the centre of Doncaster in South Yorkshire, Thorne South Station is responsible for the rail transport needs of the southern area of the town of Thorne. The facility is provided with a regular selection of trains as part of the Scunthorpe Branch of the Sheffield to Hull Railway.
