Situated about eight miles to the south east of Huddersfield and six miles north west of Pennistone, Shepley Station is a small facility on the Pennistone Railway Line. The station serves the rail transport needs of the small village of Shepley and enjoys fairly regular services connecting it with the more major owns of the area.
