Sandal and Abrigg Station is the primary rail access point and transport interchange for the two suburbs of Andal and Agbrigg in Wakefield. The town is a large regional hub in this area of West Yorkshire and the station is surrounded by primarily residential housing. Trains run to the station as part of the Wakefield Railway Line which connects the suburbs with the centre of the community.
