South of Nether Polleton, close to the River Ouse, Poppleton Station is one of the primary railway access points for the villages on the edge of the City of York in North Yorkshire. There is generally an hourly service from the station that runs to the centre of York and west towards Leeds on the Harrogate Railway Line.
