Lockwood Station is situated about a mile and half away from the centre of Huddersfield on the edge of the Pennine Mountains in West Yorkshire. The small facility which only has a single platform serves the Lockwood suburb of Huddersfield and enjoys regular services as part of the Pennistone Railway Line.
