This station is to be found between Leeds and Ilkley on the Wharfedale Railway Line. The station is in the Wharfedale village of Ben Ryydding that is effectively a suburb of Iikley. A part of the historic West Riding of Yorkshire the area is awash with beautiful scenery such as the River Wharfe and the fantastic Cow and Calf Rocks. The area is mainly residential and residents tend to commute to the larger settlements for entertainment and shopping.
