Adwick-on-Deane is a small station in South Yorkshire serving the town of the same name which is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster. Near the station there are a good selection of shopping facilities, although Doncaster remains the hub of most activity in the area. Adwick has an excellent leisure complex that offers sports and fitness facilities. The countryside around the station is industrial in places but largely beautiful.
