People are drawn to St. Austell as it is the largest town in the whole of Cornwall, even bigger than Truro, the only city in the country. The railway station overlooks the town and is well used by tourist traffic as it is close to such attractions as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Helligan, not to mention a great array of beautiful beaches.
