This railway station is the principle rail access point for the town of Quintrell Downs, close to the major seaside resort of Newquay in Cornwall. The countryside that surrounds the station is very beautiful and the railway journeys from the facility treat passengers to some of the nicest views of the area. The station is on the Par to Newquay Railway.
