Penzance is one of the largest towns in Cornwall and is a fascinating historic community on the sea. Rich in maritime history, particularly related to pirates of yesteryear, the area attracts many visitors, a great deal of whom travel by rail. The station is part of the Great Western mainline and there are regular services from the facility east towards London.
