This station is a bizarre oddity of the national rail network because although it is located on a regular public railway line, it isn’t open to the general public. It can only be used by visitors to the Royal marine Commando Training Centre at Lympstone. Services operate to the station on the Exmouth to Exeter Line in Devon.
