Bristol Temple Meads is Bristol city centres main station and is that which all mainline services from London call at on their way to the furthers reaches of the south west of England. The station is situated about a mile from the city centre and is a spectacular example of Brunel’s design work, a monument to the great age of steam that has sadly gone forever from the railways.
