One of the constituent stations on the Argyle Railway Line, this station is part of the Larkhall Branch. The station is the principle transport hub for the small community of Larkhall in South Lanarkshire. Trains run about every thirty minutes from the station towards Glasgow during normal times and slightly less frequently late at night.
