Auchinleck is a small station in East Ayrshire in Scotland. The area is famous for one resident in particular, James Boswell, Lawyer, Diarist and Biographer who lived at Auchinleck House, a wonderful country mansion on the edge of the city. The area is surrounded by inspiring countryside and is typical of this area of rural Scotland. The next nearest town is Cumnock that is just a few miles to the northwest.
