This station is the principle rail access point and transport hub for the area surrounding the community of Maiden Newton in Dorset. The facility is based on the Heart of Wessex Railway Line which runs between Castle Carey and Weymouth. Regular services run throughout the year although more services run for tourists in the summer months.
