Bitterne Station is a tiny interchange on the main Southampton to Portsmouth Coastal Line. Only one train an hour stops at this small station and therefore it isn’t a particularly well-used facility. The area around the station is mainly residential and nearby is some light commerce. The station is used for commuting in and out of the two major cities of the south coast.
