This station serves the northern section of the Oxfordshire town of Bicester. The station is on the mainline between London Marylebone Station and Birmingham Snow Hill Station, a part of the Chiltern Railway Line. There is a long-standing connection between the town and the military. The charity Oxfam has its emergency warehouse near to the town and a great many people enjoy Bicesters historic charms.
