Basingstoke Station is at the centre of the large town of Basingstoke in Hampshire. The station is large and busy and has services to the south coast, London and mainline intercity services to Scotland and the West Country. Near to the station is the historic centre of Basingstoke that besides a good selection of shops also has a museum and an excellent and well-used theatre complex. There are also leisure facilities within walking distance of the station.
