Porth Station in South Wales is the main railway access point for the town of Porth. The town’s name Porth comes from the Welsh for ‘gate’ and it is so named because the community is known as the gateway to the valleys, standing on the edge of the Rhondda. Trains run regularly as part of the Rhondda Line.
