Llanishen Station is effectively a suburban railway facility within the city of Cardiff in south Wales. Although technically the village of Llanishen where the station is based is a separate place, growth of Cardiff has meant that today they are one and the same. Regular services take passengers into the capital on the Rhymney Railway Line.
