Approximately 15 miles north of Cardiff, Abercynon North Station is one of two railway stations serving the the village of Abercynon. Located between the River Taff and River Cynon the station is in a beautiful location in the valleys of South Wales. Llancaiach Fawr Manor is a magnificent example of a tudor manor house and lies nearby. The village was the terminus of the first ever steam train journey in 1804.
