This railway station is exactly nineteen miles to the east of Charing Cross Station at the heart of London. Stone Crossing is just outside of Dartford in the Greenhithe district of Kent. Trains run on a regular basis along the southern banks of the River Thames into the heart of London on the North Kent Line.
