Sheperds Well Station is located in the eastern areas of Kent and is noted mainly because it is the beginning of a heritage railway known as the east Kent Railway. This facility provides steam and diesel locomotives a place to entertain visitors and enthusiasts. The station is also part of the Chatham Main Line Dover Branch.
