Rochester is a large town in the Medway area of Kent and is famous for its long and illustrious history. The station which stands at the heart of the community is not far from Rochester Cathedral and Rochester Castle. Charles Dickens was a fan of the area and based many of his novels around the local communities. The station is served by the North Kent and Chatham Railway Line.
