This station is located on the EastCoastway Line in East Sussex close to the south coast. The station serves a tiny hamlet called Bishopstone to the west of the town of Seaford. Close to the station is an ancient church called Saint Andrew’s which was thought to have first been built in the eighth century, destroyed in the middle ages and rebuilt in the twelfth century.
