Located close to Maidstone in Kent, Barming Station serves a small community on the mainline between London Victoria and the Kent coast. The River Medway flows close to the station that is in the more built up area of Barming close to the ribbon growth into Maidstone itself. The area has several fine examples of ancient churches and some other historic buildings of note.
