Part of the Sutton and Mole Valley Line, this station serves the area of Banstead in Surrey. Once a village railway station, now the interchange is part of Greater London after the conurbation swallowed up Banstead. The station can be found at one end of the high street that has a good selection of shops and restaurants. From the station you can see the Banstead Downs, a wonderful greenland area of Surrey.
