Balcombe Station serves a small community in West Sussex and is situated on the King’s Cross to Brighton railway line. Interestingly the station is almost exactly half way between the south coast of England and the capital. Just south of the station on the same railway line is the famous Ouse Valley Viaduct which is one of the more spectacular pieces of transport architecture in Britain. The area immediately around the station is primarily residential.
