About thirty minutes by rail from the centre of London, this station straddles the border between Greater London and Kent to the south east of Charing Cross. The station is close to the London Borough of Bexley, and although a part of London is full of green areas, parks and gardens. This leafy area is a pleasant place to live, mainly residential but dotted with ancient buildings and things of interest to look at.
