Riding Mill Station serves the small village of the same name close to Hexham in Northumberland. The area is renowned for the Riding Mill Pumping Station which controls the water level in a nearby body of water. Trains run to the facility on a fairly infrequent basis as part of the Tyne Valley Railway Line.
