Alnmouth Station is close to the middle of this tiny Northumberland village. Alnmouth has always played an important part in the history of Northumberland due to its involvement in the trading of grain and smuggling. Located at the mouth of the River Aln the station is about four miles away from Alnwick. Today the village has become a popular tourist resort because of its wonderful pastoral suroundings and friendly locals.
