Situated on the southern banks of the River Mersey, this station isn’t far from where the great river narrows to form the Runcorn Gap. The station is one of two that serve the town of Runcorn in the Hatton area of Merseyside, formerly a part of Cheshire. The station is on the West Coast Mainline and operates regular services to Liverpool and London.
