Runcorn East Station is situated in the eastern suburbs of the large town of Runcorn on Merseyside. The station is one of two that serve the town, the other being the more centrally located Runcorn Station. The facility is responsible for the transport needs of a mainly residential community who are served by trains on the Cheater to Manchester Line.
