Rainford Station serves the small village of Rainford Junction which has grown up around the railway station in St. Helens, Merseyside. The facility is located close to the centre of the community and enjoys services as part of the Kirby Railway Line which runs into the centre of Liverpool for leisure and commuter traffic.
