Lying on the historic boundary between Lancashire and Merseyside, Prescot is a small community in the Knowsley area of Merseyside. The station is about eight miles away from the centre of Liverpool. Trains visit the station on a fairly regular basis linking it to the major communities of Wigan and Liverpool.
