This railway facility is located close to the Clock Tower suburb of St. Helens in the north west of England. The station is about three miles from the centre of St. Helens, one of the larger areas of Merseyside. The station enjoys fairly regular stopping services on the northern route of the Manchester to Liverpool Railway.
