Failsworth Station is located in Greater Manchester and serves a primarily suburban community on the edge of the borough. The station is situated on what is known as the Oldham Loop Line and allows easy access to some of the nearby neighbouring Manchester suburbs. The station is about 6 kilometres north east of Manchester city centre.
