This Lancashire station serves the small town of Burscough on the Omskirk to Preston Railway Line. It has good facilities including regular bus services, a café and a small shop. It should not be confused with the other station of Burscough Bridge which serves the Manchester to Southport Railway. It is advised to leave at least 20 minutes between changing stations.
