This station is one of two that serves the Bromborough area of the Wirral in northwestern England. The Ellesmere Port and Chester Branch of the Wirral Railway Line on Merseyside serve it. The station is responsible for passengers living on the other side of the suburb to its sister station Bromborough that is the next stop on the line.
