This small-unmanned station is the terminus of the Fylde Coast Line in Lancashire and is located at the southern end of the beachfront promenade in Blackpool. The area is largely residential but is not far from the bright lights and attractions that the seaside town of Blackpool has to offer the many visitors who flock there all year round.
