Situated on the branch line between Lancaster and Heysham, Bare Lane Station was built to serve the small village of Bare in Lancashire. Today the station is effectively in Morecambe which has grown and swallowed up the old village. The area is a popular tourist spot during the summer months due to its entertainment facilities and beautiful sea views.
