Accrington Station
Paxton Street, Accrington, Lancashire BB5 1QQ - England, UK

Map
Accrington Station serves a relatively small former mill town in the industrial northwest of England. Around the station there is a good selection of shopping and leisure facilities as well as good rail and road links to nearby Blackburn and Burnley and across the Pennines to York and Leeds. The town was one of the central places involved in the ’plug’ riots of the 1850’s that eventually joined up with the unsuccessful Chartist movement.
