Woodford is a leafy suburb on the northern border between Greater London and Essex. It is close to Loughton and the edge of Epping Forest, one of the largest green areas in the London area. Traditionally the area has always attracted relatively affluent people and has been home to many of the capitals most famous football players in recent years. It has a good selection of shopping facilities and easy access by road into the nearby countryside.
