West Ruislip is the western terminus of the Central Line. Ruislip itself is a an area of west London in the Borough of Hillingdon. One of the most visited attractions in the area is Ruislip Lido, a beautiful open-air swimming pool surrounded by wooded parkland. In the park a 12” gauge railway runs for children to enjoy. The town of Ruislip is also home to some unique and ancient buildings that are well worth a look.
