Wembley is a relatively affluent area of northwest London with a vibrant multicultural community. The suburb is world famous because of the large stadium that is located within it. The old Wembley Stadium was famed for its twin towers and hosted not only the World Cup Final that England won in 1966 but also the Live Aid Concert of 1985. The new Wembley Stadium was constructed over a period of five years on the same site and is equally impressive with its enormous steel arch that casts a shadow across the suburb.
