Located on the ‘Hainult Loop’ of te Central Line, Wanstead is in the London Borough of Redbridge in east London. The area is predominantly residential but does have some small shopping streets. It has a selection of local parks and green areas but is quite built up. The suburb is interested by the A12 trunk road that leads out of the capital to Essex. It is noted for having a large comprehensive school and several nice public houses.
