Upminster is the eastern terminus of the District Line. A mainly residential area of east London, the suburb is dotted with Victorian and Edwardian townhouses amongst its leafy streets. The area is famous for its windmill that is a local landmark and used as the symbol of Upminster. Nearby are excellent sporting facilities including a golf course, tennis courts and a sports centre.
