This station is situated in Rotherhithe in southeast London. Close to the interchange is the large Surrey Quays Shopping Centre that has a wealth of facilities and attracts visitors from neighbouring areas. Across the road from the station is Southwark Park, a large green area that is popular with locals to play sport, exercise and relax in the summer months. The station is on the East London Line of the Underground network.
