This station is located close to the town of Orpington on the very southern borders of Greater London where the capital meets the counties of Surrey and Kent. The facility is served by a number of railway lines including the Chatham Main Line Railway and the Sevenoaks Line. It is about fifteen miles from London Victoria Station.
